Biography

Born in Albania, Enkeleda Kamani was surrounded by music from an early age. In 2015, she graduated in singing with honors at the University of the Arts in Tirana.
In 2013 and 2015 she was among the winners of the international competition ‘Marie Kraja’ (Albania), where she won the third prize and then the first prize. In 2014, she began working at the National Theater of Albania, where she made her debut in the same year as Euridice (ORFEO ET EURIDICE), in 2015 as Susanna (LE NOZZE DI FIGARO) and in 2016 as Giulietta (I CAPULETI E I MONTECCHI). Also in 2016 she performed as soloist in CARMINA BURANA, as well as in the roles of Pamina (DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE), and Musetta (LA BOHÈME).
In 2017 she won the ‘AsLiCo’ competition (Como, Italy) with the role of Pamina and after interpreting this role in Bergamo, Cremona, Pavia, Como and Brescia.
Also, in 2017 she was admitted to the Academy of specialisation for opera singers of the “Teatro alla Scala” in Milan, taking part in various productions on stage such as: the role of Sandmännchen (HÄNSEL UND GRETEL),
Then, Delia (ALI BABÀ AND THE FORTY THIEVES) Adina (L’ELISIR D’AMORE) and Sacerdotessa (Aida) in 2018,
Naiade (ARIADNE AUF NAXOS), Tonina (Salieri’s PRIMA LA MUSICA POI LE PAROLE) and Gilda (RIGOLETTO) with Leo Nucci and conducted by Daniel Oren in 2019.
2020 began with a new production of ‘DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE’ (Pamina) at Royal Opera House in Muscat, conducted by M° Diego Fasolis, the debut of Lucia in ‘LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR’ in Verona, Oscar in (Un ballo in maschera) in Florence,
‘RIGOLETTO’ in Treviso, ‘LA SERVA PADRONA’ in Salerno and the ‘New Year Eve Concert’ in Verona.
2021 began with ‘IL PASTICCIO’ at “Teatro Massimo” in Palermo, ‘RIGOLETTO’ in Florence, Elvira in ‘L’ITALIANA IN ALGERI at “Teatro alla Scala” in Milan, and Despina ‘COSÌ FAN TUTTE’ in Verona.
2022 start’s with three productions of ‘RIGOLETTO’ – Royal Opera House, Muscat, “Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège” and “Opera Carlo Felice” – Genova, closing the year with the debute of the Eudoxie in ‘La Juive’ in Dortmund.
In 2023 she debuts the role of Zerlina (DON GIOVANNI) in the opening season of Teatro “Regio di Parma”, and then another very important debut in “Opéra National de Lorraine”, France with the role of Violetta in ‘LA TRAVIATA’ , continuing with Eudoxie (LA JUIVE) in Turin, Gilda in (RIGOLETTO) in Malta, Adina (ELISIR D’AMORE) in Köln, Germany and Oscar (UN BALLO IN MASCHERA) in Verona.
